A Stateside Bash For Jimmy Choo's Rob Pruitt Collab
"Look at the shoes, they have glitter on them—I'm in love!" Hilary Rhoda gushed as she gazed down at her feet with girlish delight last night. The model was one of many in the crowd at the Fletcher-Sinclair mansion—Bette Franke, Jeneil Williams, and Edita Vilkeviciute, included—wearing pieces from the artist Rob Pruitt's limited-edition collection for Jimmy Choo. After celebrating the new partnership in London a couple of weeks ago, the brand's creative directors, Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway, brought the party stateside. Pruitt was only too happy to play along. "For me, it's a really exciting idea to take this enterprise, this art, which usually just ends up in a museum or in someone's home, and put it out there in the world," he told Style.com. The actress Krysten Ritter toted a glossy red ombré clutch from the collaboration. "I think this art infusion edges things up a bit, and allows you to have a little fun."
