If Sunday night's 13th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards delivered few surprises on the winner's podiumsave for Little Miss Sunshine's Best Ensemble nodthere were red-carpet stunners aplenty. Reese Witherspoon
reprised her Golden Globes hit, wearing a more subdued but no less formfitting cocktail dress by Olivier Theyskens for Nina Ricci. Ellen Pompeo
went futuristic again, this time in a Lanvin halter gown in one of the colors of the night, slate gray. And Cate Blanchett
gave a sparkling sneak preview of her Armani Oscar attireshe's said to have had a fitting with the designer during couture last weekin a champagne beaded sheath modified from his latest ready-to-wear collection.
Diane Kruger, Heather Graham, and Helen Hunt also donned shimmering nudes, while Demi Moore, Katherine Heigl, and Jada Pinkett Smith chose electric brights. Helen Mirren, who took home two statuettes, went demure in midnight-blue Morgane Le Fay, while Jennifer Hudson and America Ferrera dressed like the front-runners they were in décolletage-framing Michael Kors and Badgley Mischka, respectively. If there were an award for Cutest Couple, it would've gone to Half Nelson nominee Ryan Gosling and his sweetheart, Rachel McAdams. Sporting Valentino and one of the evening's shortest frocks, they canoodled for the cameras all the way down the red carpet.
