The 60th annual Cannes Film Festival came to a close on Sunday night with one of New York's own, artist/auteur Julian Schnabel, nabbing the Best Director prize for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Cast members Emmanuelle Seigner and Marie-Josée Croze accompanied Schnabel to the Palme d'Or ceremony, where Romanian filmmaker Cristian Mungiu's 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days won the Best Picture title. On the fashion front, there were plenty of winners at Friday night's Dolce & Gabbana party. Naomi Campbell, Kylie Minogue, and Rosario Dawson all showed up in tight, spangled frocks, much to the delight of Bono, The Edge, and Jay-Z. But no one had as much fun as Stefano Gabbana, who vamped for the cameras with Dita Von Teese, Rose McGowan, and Lily Donaldson.
