After her wildly successful runway show, it was no surprise that Donatella Versace's post-show dinner was buzzing. Even Hollywood types took a stab at playing fashion critic. Fergie proved surprisingly fluent in the language of volume and silhouette, while Patrick Dempsey (the face of Versace's spring campaign) was eager to expound on the show's overall rhythm. Despite the abundance of models lounging about chez Versace, the arrival of the tall, dark, and supernaturally handsome Dempsey turned more than a few heads. "That's the kind of thing that makes me feel like an impostor at these events," lamented designer Christopher Kane as he gave Dr. McDreamy an envious once-over. After dinner, everyone went upstairs to boogie down to the songs from the eighties you wish you could forget, exuberantly mixed by the DJ duo Queens of Noize.
