Yves Saint Laurent always dressed the cream of French moviedom, and one of the creamiest, Catherine Deneuve, was on hand for the YSL boutique reopening on Monday night. Other thesps in the crowd included Clotilde Courau, Audrey Marnay, and emerging heartthrob Malik Zidi. Arly Jover and Joana Preiss were already sporting dresses from YSL's pre-fall collection (Deneuve wore her own vintage number), while Lucy Liu donned a black patent corset belt that would have done Belle de Jour proud. Asked if she remembered the days when YSL was in her dreams but out of her reach, the Cashmere Mafia star quipped, "It still is!" Meanwhile, artist Terence Koh, Colette's Sarah Lerfel, and Anouck Lepère were among the VIPs who braved the crush of fans at Jeremy Scott's after-party at Le Baron. Attempting to navigate through a throng of well-wishers, a slightly overwhelmed Scott proclaimed, "I feel like I just got released from jail!"
