A Wong Kar-wai Premiere Attracts a Fashionable Crowd

Film and fashion came together at Wednesday's Cinema Society screening of My Blueberry Nights, the latest from director Wong Kar-wai. The movie's star, Norah Jones, wore demure Moschino Cheap & Chic, and Agyness Deyn sported—what else?—vintage. Designer Erin Fetherston, meanwhile, raved about Natalie Portman's turn as a Vegas floozy in the flick. Will the actress' Blueberry look influence Fetherston's next collection? "Tacky Vegas? No. I don't think it's really my universe," she told us. More covetable were the prescription shades Wong wore to the premiere. He said they were custom-made in Japan by a man who used to craft samurai knives.
