The Olsens Host a Pre-CFDA Dinner at Rockefeller Center
The Sopranos' penultimate episode and the rain kept most of New York at home on Sunday night, but not the fashion flock. Derek Lam, Thakoon Panichgul, and Rag & Bone's Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, among other CFDA nominees, gathered at the Top of the Rock for Nadja Swarovski's second annual pre-Awards dinner there. Womenswear noms Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler had the evening's biggest cheering section in the form of the Olsen sisters and Victoria Traina, the latter of whom said she was planning to wear one of their dresses to the ceremony at the New York Public Library. Also on hand was French fashion legend Pierre Cardin. How did it feel to be in New York to receive the CFDA's International Award? "Magnifique."
