UPS Sponsors A Few Lucky Designers

On Tuesday night, UPS took over the rooftop bar of the Thompson Hotel, where brown leather satchels—created by Coach—were awarded to the designers who have been chosen to show in UPS's sponsored tent during fashion week. (Congratulations to Sari Gueron, Vena Cava, Alice Ritter, Brian Reyes, Erin Fetherston, Verrier, et al.) Fern Mallis, Jane Keltner, and former recipients Doo-Ri Chung and Natalie Chanin popped in to wish the fledgling stars well, and even though the New York collections are around the corner, summer plans were the main topic of conversation.
