MTV held its 23rd annual Video Music Awards show at New York’s Radio City last night. These days, the quarter-century-old cable channel is more likely to air reality programs than actual videos, but that didn't stop rappers, post-punks, pop divas, and wannabe Paris Hilton from pulling out all the stops. This year, they went glam (Christina Aguilera and Beyoncé Knowles slipped into shimmering dresses by Versace), short (The Black Eyed Peas' Fergie sported thigh-high Max Azria Atelier), or both (Jennifer Lopez opted for a glittery Biba minidress and paired it with a matching turban).
