Evan Yurman's Jewelry Proves a Hit With the Hollywood Set
The focus was on Evan Yurman, the 25-year-old son of jeweler David, on Wednesday night as he played sole host for a celebration of his new line of men's jewelry for the family firm. "Not that I'm nervous or anything," the younger Yurman deadpanned during dinner at the Paramour Estate in Silver Lake. On hand to show their support were Jacquetta Wheeler, Jeremy Piven (broken leg and all), and Mary-Kate Olsen, who had draped cable necklaces from the main Yurman line around her neck but added pendants and bracelets from Evan's new collection to the mix. After a performance by the Bravery, guests mingled at a makeshift VIP area outside, where actress Joy Bryant declared the evening a success. "Who's David?" she joked. "It's all about Evan Yurman now."
