Armani Stages a Charitable Extravaganza in London

It was an A-grade evening inside the cavernous Brompton Hall in Earls Court: A for Armani, in town to show his Emporio collection for spring. A for Africa, the recipient of the largesse that will flow from the RED initiative launched by Bono (the U2 singer and several like-minded celebs were invited to share the stage with Armani's models to raise awareness about The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria). And A also for the huge crowd of A-listers, many of whom seemed happy to hang around as 50 Cent's performance gave way to a night of old-school rave. At 2 a.m., in fact, Mr A. himself was still circulating.
