Chloë Tries It On

An exclusive first look at Sevigny's latest

Among the more than 25 entries in You Wear It Well, a festival of short films on fashion curated by blogger Diane Pernet and photographer/artist Dino Dinco, is this charmer. Shot in a single afternoon by Brazilian photographer Marcelo Krasilcic—with a little help from Myself's Kai Kühne—the minimovie has a simple but oddly engaging premise: Chloë Sevigny tries on clothes and gives a "yes" (to Kühne's) or "no" (to those designed by others) response. "After all," says Krasilcic, "fashion is about feeling great."

You Wear It Well, featuring work by Nick Knight/Alexander McQueen, Ruben Toledo, and others, premieres August 1 at CineSpace in Hollywood.
