Sweepstakes open to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older at time of entry.

1) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Promotion begins at 12:01 a.m. (ET) on December 26, 2002 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on January 23, 2003. Void in Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii and where prohibited by law.

2) HOW TO ENTER: To enter, complete and submit electronically the online entry form at
http://www.style.com/promo/voguesweeps/. Entrants must complete entire entry form to be eligible. Enter as often as you wish, but for each entry the entry form must be individually completed. Entries submitted using any kind of bot or automated technology will be deleted. Sponsors assume no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. We may at times wish to e-mail you offers that we believe may be of interest to you from us or from carefully selected third parties. If you do not want your e-mail address used for future marketing purposes please check the appropriate box on the entry form.


3) WINNER SELECTION: One winner will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about January 24, 2003. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. PRIZE: (1) Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive a 3-night/4-day trip for two to New York, New York during New York Fashion Week, which runs from February 10, 2003 - February 14, 2003. Actual dates of trip will be based on fashion show dates and times, which are not yet determined. The prize package includes round-trip, coach airfare for two from the major airport nearest the winner’s home in the United States, double occupancy hotel accommodations for 3 nights, 2 tickets to a designer runway show. Ground transportation to and from New York City area airports is included. All other ground transportation, meals and other expenses are not included. Approximate retail value of prize package: $3,200, depending on flight itinerary. Income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. No cash redemption, substitution or transfer of prize is allowed except by sponsors, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. All travelers must possess required travel documents (i.e. valid photo ID) at the time of travel.

4) ELIGIBILITY: This sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the contiguous 48 United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry (not including Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, or any territories). Employees of The Conde Nast Publications, CondéNet ("Sponsors") and contractors working directly on this program and the immediate family members of each are not eligible to enter.

5) GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules. The laws of the United States govern this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winner will be notified by email. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If winner is unreachable after 48 hours, or if winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner may be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries received. All decisions of the judges are final. Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Grand Prize winner and travel companion a Liability/Publicity Release within 7 days following the date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission for Sponsors to use winner name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless The Conde Nast Publications, CondéNet and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any prize won.

6) INTERNET: If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. The Sponsors assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsors on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of a winner based on an E-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the E-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted E-mail address. Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes.
