W’s Gem of Your Dreams Sweepstakes Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the contiguous United States plus the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of The Conde Nast Publications, Fairchild Publications, CondéNet ("Sponsors"), and contractors working directly on this program, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible to enter.

1) PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Promotion begins at 12:01 a.m. (ET) on May 13, 2002 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on June 24, 2002. Prizes will be awarded via a random drawing conducted on or about June 25, 2002 from among all eligible entries received. Void in Puerto Rico, Alaska and Hawaii and where prohibited by law.

2) HOW TO ENTER: Complete and submit electronically the online entry form at http://www.style.com/promo/w_gem/entry.html. Entrants must complete entire entry form to be eligible. Limit one entry per entrant and per email address. Multiple entries submitted in violation of the previous sentence are void. Sponsors assume no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone, or human error or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. We may at times wish to e-mail you offers that we believe may be of interest to you from us or from carefully selected third parties.

3) WINNER SELECTION: Winner will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about JUNE 25, 2002. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. PRIZES: (1) Grand Prize: One (1) winner will receive a customized piece of H.Stern jewelry following a consultation with a member of the H.Stern styling team. Approximate retail value of prize package: $4,950. Income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. No cash redemption, substitution or transfer of prize is allowed except by Sponsors, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.

5) GENERAL CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules. The laws of the United States govern this Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winners will be notified by email. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If a winner is unreachable after 48 hours, or if a winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner may be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All decisions of the judges are final. Grand Prize winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Grand Prize winner and travel companion a Liability/Publicity Release within 7 days following the date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. 6) INTERNET: If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. The Sponsors assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.
