Dirk Standen is Editor in Chief of Style.com, a position he has held since September 2005. Under Mr. Standen's direction, the Web site has received widespread industry recognition, including Magazine Publishers of America digital awards, Webby Awards, and min's 2011 Best of the Web Awards.

Since being named Editor in Chief of Style.com, Mr. Standen has overseen a major redesign of the women's fashion site along with the launch of several new initiatives, including the Style.com iPhone and iPad applications.

Mr. Standen joined Condé Nast Digital in 2003 as Deputy Editor. He helped reposition Epicurious.com and Concierge.com and played a leading role in the January 2005 launch of Men.Style.com, which was nominated for an ASME award for General Excellence Online later that year.

Prior to joining Condé Nast Digital, Mr. Standen had several years' experience at online publications. As Editor in Chief of iTurf.com, he launched one of the first social networking Web sites. Before that, he was a Senior Editor at Microsoft's Sidewalk.com.

Mr. Standen has written extensively about fashion and lifestyle topics for a number of national and international publications, including GQ, Details, Tatler, Food & Wine, and The New York Observer. He holds an M.F.A. degree in filmmaking from Columbia University and lives in New York City with his wife and son.

Offering comprehensive runway coverage, authoritative trend reporting, the latest social, celebrity, and fashion news, and interactive forums on every aspect of the fashion world, Style.com provides visitors with a total fashion experience. Based in New York, Style.com launched in September 2000.

Fairchild Fashion Media (FFM), a unit of Condé Nast, includes WWD (Women's Wear Daily), Style.com, FN (Footwear News), Beauty Inc, Menswear, Fairchild Summits, and Fairchild Books. Condé Nast is a division of Advance Publications, which operates in 25 countries.
