Zoe Cassavetes and Parker Posey formed a mutual-adoration society at last night’s NYC premiere of the former’s new movie, Broken English. “It’s her first film, but she has it in her genes. It’s an ease she was born with,” explained Posey, who plays a Manhattanite looking for love in Paris. “Melvil Poupaud, my French co-star, was like, ‘I cannot believe she is so relaxed….Zis is so incredible. Zis is amazing, zis is her first time!’ ” “Parker’s been one of my favorite actresses for a really long time,” countered Cassavetes, who, of course, is the daughter of John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands, a recent Style.com Beauty Icon and another of Broken English’s stars. Did all this love translate to on-screen magic? Broken English opens in select theaters this Friday.
