Isabellablow

Two Berlin shops are hosting a fashion week tribute to Isabella Blow, the late British Vogue stylist and iconic English eccentric. The small exhibition at the neighoring JustMariOt and Buffalo shoe boutiques in the Mitte district consists of Mari Otberg’s quirky embroidery and fantasy photography by Blow’s photographer friend Mariano Scopel, hung alongside a series of Blow’s own loopy illlustrations for The Sunday Times Magazine. The show is reminiscent of the kind of magically unreal gestures Blow was a master of—it’s like a mix between a fairy’s tea party and a wake.
