LFW funding for young designers

From London comes word that Richard Nicoll, Jens Laugesen, and Sinha-Stanic have been selected to receive Fashion Forward sponsorship to show their Spring 2008 collections at the city’s fashion week in September. Like a lot of young British talent, the Australian-born Nicoll got off to a strong critical start but has struggled to keep his business afloat. He called the funding “a lifeline.”
