time out

This year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund nominees were announced yesterday, but last year’s winner, Doo-Ri Chung, is already moving on to high-profile collaborations. Teaming up with luxury watchmaker Piaget, Chung has designed a limited-edition line of custom-made watches fashioned from antique lacquer and cracked mother-of-pearl. Available in September, the timepieces will be unveiled tonight at a small soirée hosted by the designer along with girl-about-town Jessica Joffe at Piaget’s Fifth Avenue boutique.—Joanna Rodger
