Takashi Murakami has built a lucrative career from mixing art and consumer culture. This blending of creativity and commercialism will be taken to its logical conclusion in an upcoming exhibit at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in L.A., reports Supertouch. Called ©Murakami, the show will include a specially built Louis Vuitton shop stocked with limited-edition merchandise. The catch? The museum won’t get a penny from the sales.
