For those who are counting, there’s just one week before the chaotic Barneys warehouse sale hits. By comparison, the retailer’s Chelsea Co-Op location was pretty calm last night when the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America (ACRIA) held its annual art benefit, Unframed. Host committee members Francisco Costa, Andrew Saffir, and Simon Doonan sipped cocktails while bidding on and checking out donated—and well below market price—work by 16 contemporary artists, including Vik Muniz, Jonathan Seliger, and William Wood. “This is one of my favorites,” said Doonan, peering into the display case holding Tobias Wong’s “bulletproof” rose brooch as the young artist looked on. “This is so Victor & Rolf.”—Katie Hintz
