Ferebee Bishop opened the doors to her Soho loft last night for a party in honor of newbie handbag designer Sarah Heary. The 25-year-old, who formerly worked in accessories at Cole Haan with the socialite’s sister-in-law, Annie Taube, had an array of clutches and satchels made from exotic skins on display. Currently selling at Takashimaya, Heary’s goods run from $375 for a Japanese fan evening bag to $7,000 for a large ostrich and alligator carry all. Don’t be surprised if you see some of the attendees—including Zani Gugelmann and Alexis Bryan—toting the new label come next week.
