Designer update

j’adore diodore

We love a stealth collaboration. While Roberto Cavalli has been getting publicly cozy with H&M and the Cruz sisters have very visibly partnered with Mango, Vena Cava’s Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai have been quietly developing product for Anthropologie. The project, initiated by a mutual friend, will launch in September with two dresses ($168 each) under the label Diodore, an old-fashioned French name that appealed to the duo because it sounds like it could belong to a 1930’s Paris boutique. Additional styles are in the works. Look for Diodore dresses in select Anthropologie stores and online at www.anthropologie.com.
