It’s baaack! The U.S. Open tennis tournament tips off on Monday in New York, but we got the early fashion scoop when Maria Sharapova debuted her dresses by Nike at Rockefeller Center last night. The U.S. Open defending champ showed off a white-and-black number for day, with an upside-down NYC skyline serving as the neckline graphic. Her after-dark look, in Big Apple red, has the same skyline detail, but done up in 600-plus twinkling Swarovski crystals. While Sharapova plans to hit a few fashion shows after the tournament ends on September 8, her mind will be strictly on tennis until then. “Because I won the tournament, it’s a different feeling on that court. But I know how special that moment was and just want to repeat it,” she says. “And to be back in New York, my favorite city in the world, is very special.”
