Is someone at IKEA a fan of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette? The furniture giant recently sent its design team to France to research 250-year-old textiles, and they came back with an eighteenth-century floral that was stripped down to a graphic black-and-white for the company’s new collection. This bit of history in the making is currently available as slipcovers, feather cushions, and curtains, all at unabashedly democratic prices ($14.99 to $199).
