As you’d expect from an industry that promotes exclusivity, New York fashion week has always been an invitation-only event. But this September, members of the general public will be able to get in on the action: As reported in The Wall Street Journal, holders of American Express Gold, Platinum, and Centurion Cards will be able to buy tickets to watch the shows live from a skybox-style hospitality suite. Which, frankly, sounds a lot more pleasant than jostling for seats in the tents.
