up a tree

August 24, 2007  9:39 am

Card

A little bit of sunshine landed on our desks this morning in the form of a pop-up invitation depicting a leafy tree inhabited by birds and hung with raindrops. It’s for the September 11 debut of J.Lo’s latest fashion line, justsweet. The illustration is the work of the Finnish artist Kustaa Saksi, who’s collaborating with Alexandre de Betak on justsweet’s show set. Of that project, Saksi will reveal only that it has something to do with “modern fairy tales.” We’re looking forward to his next fashion story: a collaboration with Levi’s that will launch next year. For more on Kustaa Saksi, see www.kustaasaksi.com.
