Tilda Swinton has made a career of breaking down sartorial barriers. Who can forget her gender-spanning role as Orlando in the Virginia Woolf adaptation, or the sight of her opening Viktor & Rolf’s Fall 2003 runway show in a black pantsuit? Today at the Michael Clayton photocall at the Venice Film Festival—where other stars are swanning about in full-length dresses in broad daylight—she was snapped in a crisp, white ensemble from her new go-to label, Jil Sander. She appeared in no less than four outfits by Sander designer Raf Simons at Cannes—this looks like a Hollywood relationship made to last.
