Puig Fashion Group president Mario Grauso was a busy man on Tuesday. In addition to making sure his stable of Olivier Theyskens fans (Lauren Davis, Tory Burch, Dr. Lisa Airan, et al) were well garbed in Nina Ricci looks for the opening of Depth of Field: Modern Photography at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, he and Lance Armstrong spent some quality time on their own looks. (Apparently women aren’t the only ones who dedicate significant thought to their appearance.) In a series of e-mails throughout the day, they debated whether or not to go clean-shaven or work a five o’clock shadow for the evening. For the record, they both cleaned up very nicely. At the dinner following the reception, talk turned from facial hair to boyfriends, and though rumors had circulated that Armstrong and Burch had recently ended their fling, they looked very much the happy couple.
