it’s good to be king

You know you’ve got it good when you can wear pajamas to a Gucci Group dinner and no one bats an eye. Artist and auteur Julian Schnabel, perhaps channeling Hugh Hefner, did just that last night, when he accepted the 2007 Gucci Group Award from CEO and chairman Robert Polet for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. The unofficial pajama party, held during the 64th annual Venice Film Festival, took place at the Palazzo Grassi and included guests from the worlds of art, cinema, and high society.
