Among those who threw bashes all over London on Monday night were the British Fashion Council, Luella Bartley, and two magazines, Vogue Italia and Dazed & Confused. After that party marathon, it’s no surprise that the fashion set who turned up for Duro Olowu’s show at 9.30 a.m. today looked a little groggy. We noticed a few front-rowers getting their sugar hits from the Hummingbird Bakery cupcakes that came in their goody bags. Also in the mix were Penguin titles (which included Jeremy Paxman’s The English, Ali Smith’s The Accidental, and others) with retro color- block covers. Unlike the cupcakes, the books were ferreted away for enjoyment in less sleep-derived moments.
