Bracelet

Newswoman Deborah Norville, Wonder Woman-turned-cabaret singer Lynda Carter, and Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard were among those putting their money where their mouths were yesterday. The occasion was the launch of Carolee’s limited-edition Words to Live By collection at Le Cirque followed by a special event at Bloomingdale’s. Carolee, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary, will donate 100 percent of profits from the sale of the engraved silver- and gold-plated bangles to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The bracelets feature words of wisdom from seven celebrities. Julianna Margulies quotes the Bard of Avon, “To thine own self be true”; Beyoncé and Tina Knowles enthuse, “Be inspired! Love can conquer all!”; and Liz Smith eschews gossip in favor of “Civilized Talk.”
