(diet) coke is it

Emergency! The Hotel Costes (THE after-hours hangout for fashion aficionados) is out of cigarettes and Diet Coke. This painful discovery was made late last night, as guests trickled back into the hotel after a long evening of celebrating (and there was a slew of events to chose from, including the Vogue Hommes International after-party, the Louis Vuitton fête, a MisShapes night at Paris Paris, and a bash at Club Sandwich). “All you fashion people have cleared us out,” an aggrieved maître d’ sighed. Things weren’t any better today. “No one makes deliveries on Mondays in Paris—this is not America!” a curt waiter reminded one peeved New Yorker demanding his Coca Light. “Thank goodness fashion week is over! I’m surprised we lasted this long—next season we’ll get a bigger stock.”
