To mark the arrival of their secondary line, Elizabeth and James, at Intermix, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen spent yesterday playing dress-up at a Chelsea art gallery. Not for themselves, though. “I was here for three hours earlier today styling and dressing these mannequins,” Mary-Kate said of the white forms draped in the clothing line named after two less-famous Olsen siblings. “And I think it turned out looking amazing,” Ashley chimed in. “It looks fun and flirty, but still sophisticated. It’s more contemporary, like a girl that lives uptown but goes out downtown.” But the ultimate compliment came from stylist Kate Young. “You could see this stuff in Paris Vogue, which, at that price point, is pretty chic and pretty impressive,” she said. “It’s good style with attitude—just like the girls themselves.”
