It sounds like a scene out of “Rififi” or “Bob le Flambeur”: Thieves walked into the Harry Winston shop in Paris last weekend and coolly walked out with $28.4 million worth of jewels, reports The New York Times. The paper goes on to note that thefts of luxury goods are on the rise, citing the Luella Bartley shop robbery that took place in London a few weeks ago. No mopeds in the Harry Winston incident, though.
