“We knew we had to get dressed up for Halloween,” said model-of-the-moment Agyness Deyn, taking a break from dancing with Henry Holland. “But really, I dress like this all the time.” Her look was very much Madonna in her “Who’s That Girl” phase: white stretch lace camisole, black pants, and flat black shoes, punched up with green lipstick. Holland, whose lips were tinted to match Deyn’s, chose the always-popular convict option, but continued the black-and-white stripes up his neck and face. The scene was the Automat Club in London’s Mayfair, where Browns Focus hosted a party for Gareth Pugh. Many of the East End Boombox gang were present, and were finding it a bit awkward being in neighborhood known for private member clubs and bank head offices. “It’s a bit weird out here,” said one partygoer outfitted as Bela Lugosi. “I saw a couple of guys wearing suits—I thought they were in costume for Halloween, but that’s how they actually get dressed in the morning. Now that’s scary!”
