It’s not that often that the Hilton sisters’ accessories closets overlap with those of more sophisticated fashion fans like Kate Hudson and Diane Kruger, but Dani Stahl’s collections for faux fabulous jewelry line Lia Sophia somehow always manage to bridge the gap (especially during awards season). “Snoop Doggy Dog loves the stuff, too,” said the Nylon magazine style director at Wednesday night’s fête for her most recent collaboration, the Petra collection, which she described as “very chic, very gold, and very fun.” Joining her for cocktails at the GoldBar in Nolita were friends Tinsley Mortimer, Tara Subkoff, Meredith Melling Burke, Ali Wise, Charlotte Ronson, Shoshanna Gruss, Rebekah McCabe, Eleanor Ylvisaker, Sylvana Soto-Ward, and Jill Kargman. Asked about having a party on the same night as a handful of other events, including the Calvin Klein party for the New Museum, Stahl was unconcerned. “No worries at all. This way we get rid of the filler!” she joked, noting that she was wearing a Calvin Klein dress. “Tonight has been great, but more importantly, people are responding to the jewels.”
