Despite appearances to the contrary, not every designer with a New York runway show is in the Big Apple this week for tonight’s Seventh on Sale gala. Brazilian Carlos Miele, who opened his Meatpacking District store in 2003, was in Paris last night, celebrating his new Rue Saint-Honoré boutique. On hand to congratulate him were Louis Vuitton CEO Yves Carcelle, model Renata Castro, and journalist Virginie Mouzat, as well as the shop’s architect, Hani Rashid. Caipirinhas, all around.
