all’s fair

Tommy

A carnival vibe was pulsing through the “Vanity Fair”/MoMA/Banana Republic party at the Shore Club in Miami on Friday night. Masks were provided for all the guests, colorful balloons festooned the cabanas, and Assume Vivid Astro Focus projected psychedelic images into the pool. The Hilfiger gang, including daughter Ali, who’d just had a big art show in New York, was out in full force. Dad Tommy was down enjoying the weather. “It sure beats the snow in Connecticut! I need some of these palm trees for my place up north.” Other guests, including Emma Snowden-Jones and Andy Spade, lounged by the pool and swiveled to the tunes of DJ duo Andrew Andrew. And if the paparazzi snaps weren’t doing it for some of them, a photo booth was installed poolside for what we’re guessing were some very boozy take-home souvenirs.
