We aren’t the only ones to notice that Calvin Klein is in overdrive (see our Year in Parties feature for more on the subject). Just yesterday morning, Kevin Carrigan, the creative director for ck Calvin Klein and Calvin Klein brands, told us that he feels like he’s on a world tour that won’t stop. His latest project is a new beauty collection for ck Calvin Klein made in conjunction with the brand’s global makeup artist Mark Carrasquillo. “Luxe product at a good price,” is how the duo pegs the lineup, which is priced from $10 to $37 and will retail at Macy’s, Dillard’s, and www.sephora.com. Maybe they really should take their act on the road. Describing a Delicious Light Glistening Lip Gloss in a color called Glory, Carrasquillo said the shade reminded him of “bruised lips, like you had just made out all night with your boyfriend.” We know plenty of girls who’d rush out to buy that.
