Miami’s social set, decked out in their Lilly Pulitzer blazers and leopard-print dresses, was present in full force on Saturday night at the Vogue- and Grey Goose-sponsored preview of Alberta Ferretti’s Spring collection at the Casa de Sueños. More compound than casa, the mansion’s massive lawn was dotted with boldface names such as Tommy Hilfiger, Lucy Liu, Fabian Basabe, and Veronica Webb, who said she’s been coming to Art Basel Miami Beach every year since it started. “This is where we do all of our Christmas shopping!” Damon Dash was also on hand, explaining that, “I find Ferretti very innovative and I am a huge fan of Vogue, so I thought I would check it out.” Though the models were teetering dangerously close to the pool and a handful of VIPs were seated under a palm tree full of ripe coconuts, the evening went off without a hitch.
