vodianova and von furstenberg team up

December 17, 2007  6:19 pm

Natalia

Although many on the committee of Thursday night’s Guggenheim gala, including Jacquetta Wheeler, Claire Bernard, and Allison Sarofim, were more than happy to model the wares of the event’s sponsor, Chloé, one striking beauty stood out from the crowd in her silver column dress: Natalia Vodianova. It turned out her gown was made by Diane von Furstenberg, a woman Vodianova said she has a lot of admiration for. “I think she’s one of the most beautiful women in the world. Everything she does, even the way she moves, is sensual.” In fact, the Russian supermodel likes the DVF style so much she agreed to be the face of von Furstenberg’s first campaign in several decades. The Spring ‘08 ads, which’ve already been shot, will appear in the February issues of major fashion magazines.
