flat rate

Italian actress Laura Chiatti caused a stir among photographers during a pre-show photo call at Chanel. Dressed in a form-fitting black knit accessorized with a wide red belt, a red clutch, and teal shoes, the diminutive actress noted it didn’t take her long to select her ideal outfit—”I’m very instinctive,” she told Style.com, adding that her fingernails were already red, so that seemed a good point of departure. Sofia Coppola, Diane Kruger, Marianne Faithfull, Anna Mouglalis, and Rinko Kikuchi were all also on hand. After the show, Audrey Marnay praised the little white numbers—a dress and a jacket in particular—and noted that the collection made her think of the fairy-tale princesses of her youth. Claudia Schiffer said that the short tulip skirts and sleek jackets embodied an elegant kind of innocence. “I definitely want one of those jackets,” she said. And although she was wearing stilettos, the über-blond praised the ubiquitous flats, pointing out that “lots of women are uncomfortable in high heels and often it’s hard to find elegant outfits with flat shoes.” For couture customers at least, it looks like that problem is solved.
