It looks like Giambattista Valli is going to be concentrating on outerwear: The designer will be launching a new fur line, created in conjunction with Ciwifurs, when he previews his upcoming collection in Milan this week. He’s also just signed on to replace Alessandra Facchinetti as the creative director of Moncler’s high-end Gamme Rouge line, an undertaking he described to WWD as “techno-couture.”
