Not content with dressing freethinking fashion lovers, Undercover designer Jun Takahashi and Australian artist Misha Hollenbach (of the streetwear label P.A.M.) are about to muscle their way into the homewares market. The Undercover x P.A.M. Black Mass Lamp, which is available in either spooky black or classic white, took two years to create, stands 18 inches high, and features two interchangeable “eyeball” globes that glow from within an ornate human skull form. The collage shade covers two separate light sources, both of which can be adjusted by dimmer switches disguised as scattered pills. “It was an easy collaboration since we both gravitate to similar things—among them, anarchy and Fornasetti,” said Hollenbach, whose recent P.A.M. collaborations include a talking toy co-created with Mike Kelley and a reversible silk jacket made with CLOT that comes in a pizza box. The Black Mass Lamp is available at select Undercover and P.A.M. dealers worldwide, as well as Mid-Century Modern and I Heart.
