Not everything Paris Hilton says is true. According to an article about managing one’s cyber profile in today’s New York Times, Ms. Hilton’s observation that “all you have to do in life is go out with your friends, party hard, and look twice as good” as the woman next to you doesn’t hold water. According to an expert quoted by the paper, the evidence shows that people who have photos of good-looking friends on their Facebook pages are deemed to be far more attractive than those who hang out with the less photogenic. Forewarned is forearmed.
