This is one to put down in the diary now: On April 29, couture-loving socialite Daphne Guinness will be selling off select items from her extensive, madcap, and frequently photographed wardrobe at Kerry Taylor Auctions in London. On the block will be this slinky black satin Roland Mouret number, an Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche evening gown, a Versace cocktail dress designed by Gianni himself, and dozens of pairs of shoes. Better yet, everything will be priced to go—the estimate for the Mouret is between £100 and £150, or $200 to $300. The only snag is that you have to be as petite as Guinness to wear any of what’s on offer: For the record, she’s an American size four, and her shoes are a six.
