While the fashion flock bid farewell to the Guggenheim’s Richard Prince exhibit last night at a party hosted by Louis Vuitton (complete with models dressed as nurses carrying the handbags Prince created in collaboration with Marc Jacobs), it won’t be their last chance to see his art: Starting January 27, windows at select Louis Vuitton stores across the nation will showcase the coveted bags, as well as examples of Prince’s work. Genevieve Jones, herself a budding handbag designer, mused over her own dream collaboration. “I would work with Dan Colen! He’s a really good friend, and I love the humor in his art,” she said. “We could make little bubble-gum handbags!” That’s something we’d like to see.
