the new online hotspot: cluballah

Carlos

How and who does one tip in the high-stakes world of Hollywood and Manhattan nightclubbing? And perhaps more importantly, how does one pose on the red carpet? These vital questions are definitively answered by legendary plus-one Carlos Lopez (he has Mischa, Lindsay, both Olsens, and Ashlee on speed dial and travels with them to couture and Cannes), a former model agency booker turned Teen Vogue informant. His website Cluballah is fast becoming the manual on midnight madness and make-out sessions. “We live in a world that is obsessed with fame and celebrity, addicted to reading gossip blogs and watching entertainment news. But we’ve blurred the line between fact and fiction,” Lopez explains. “In Cluballah, everything is real. You are the celebrity.” In addition to knowing where the cool kids are and how to interact with them, many readers will be happy to learn the 10 Cluballah Commandments (no red string bracelet necessary). They include dictums to go out at least three nights a week (at approved venues), attend New York and Paris fashion weeks (approved shows only), have at least one picture on WireImage.com, and dance on tables and throw ice at ugly club-rat table lurkers. But our favorite feature of the site? Go to the bathroom (it’s in the Store section) and see how dirty things can get.
