New York’s chicest collection of European young folk were visited by one of America’s best-known (freckled) faces Friday night at the Box. As Margherita Missoni, Tatiana Santo Domingo and Andrea Casiraghi, Stavros Niarchos, Vladimir Roitfeld, and Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and Magnus Berger all snuggled into their front-booth seats for Olympia Scarry’s birthday (she was the one in over-the-knee kinky patent boots), a commotion was overheard in the booth behind them. Turns out Lindsay Lohan, in a tiny gold dress, picked the same night to break her fast of late-night romping. While the group wouldn’t stoop to discussing the distracting Lohan posse (there was a scuffle when one of their number couldn’t get in), it seemed like Lindsay’s presence was a bit of a buzzkill. Niarchos left immediately, and the rest of the Euro crew filtered out after the first performance.
